Their are basically three Cricut machines using cricut machine cartridges, the first is the "Personal Electronic Cutter". It is sometimes referred to as the "Baby Bug" and is capable of die cuts ranging in size from 1" to 5 1/2" in 1/2" increments. It does not have some of the special functions of it's big brother, the "Expression", however it is still a very popular choice for many. The cricut machine cartridge is used in it's operation and a computer is not required for it's use. Retail price is currently $299.99 but it can usually be found for less.

The Create is the newest model in Provo Craft's cricut family. A main attraction for the "Create" is the fact that it combines the functionality of the "Expression" with the portability of the "Personal Electronic Cutter". It is capable of cutouts from 1/4 to 11 1/2" in 1/4" increments . It has many useful features including an eight way muli-directional blade. Suggested retail price is $399.99 but it can usually be found selling for less.

The most popular cricut machine cartridge cutter is the "Expression". This is not hard to understand as this model really does it all.  It can create die cuts ranging in size from 1/4" to 23 1/2" and has several special functions and modes which make cutting much easier. The suggested retail price is $499.99 but more attractive pricing can normally be found.
